Data Deletion and Account Removal

How you can request deletion

Email

Send a message to [email protected] with the subject line Delete My Data. Include the email address or username associated with your Storytime account.

Deactivate your Storytime account

1. Open the Storytime mobile app.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
3. Tap Deactivate Account and confirm.

What happens next

1. We revoke any active authentication tokens immediately.
2. Personal profile information and media held by Storytime are queued for deletion.
3. All data associated with your account is permanently deleted within 30 days of receiving the request.
4. Once deletion is complete we send a confirmation email to the address on file.

Track your request

If you submitted a request by email, you will receive a reference number. You may reply to the same email thread at any time to ask for an update.

Irreversible action

Deleting or deactivating an account is permanent. If you decide to return to Storytime you will need to create a new account.
